About Ian Aizman

I look at the art of photography as a subtractive process, a refining of actuality into a personal vision. In doing so, I use the tools of modern photography to capture the emotions I felt at the moment I tripped the camera's shutter. When you see one of my images, I want you to feel the same way I did when I took the photo.

Moments are everywhere – It’s my aim to capture them.

I specialize in candid portraiture, travel photography, animals and studio stills. I am available upon request for special assignments including, but not limited to, stills, interiors, pet photography, and candid portraits (sorry, no formal ones).

I currently shoot with a Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT using interchangeable Canon EF and EFS lenses. For some types of photography, for instance infrared, I use a film-based Canon Rebel SLR.
